In Fala Kirkyard

On the way to work this morning, passed another very notable kirkyard.   In the ancient taxation of 1137, Fala Kirk had to pay, as its proportion, the sum of six merks!

              At my first visit, I was told that the pear tree had been declared by experts to be the same age as the house - built in 1710!
