Meanderings around Coniston

I had an awkwardly timed meeting in Coniston at 1pm ... not enough time before or after for a longish walk. Parked initially at Monk Coniston and wandered around the head of the lake from where this blip was taken. Just the tiniest bit of snow on the tops. I then re-parked by the Information centre and walked up Coppermines Valley to the YHA and back before the meeting where we were looking at the new guided walk routes proposed for around Coniston next year.
