New Poker

Lots of Xmas related activities today. Bought the tree from a farm just off the A65. It is currently living in the greenhouse and will be put up towards the end of the week. We then replenished our supply of kindling wood at Sizergh Low Barn. We returned home and dumped the first set of purchases. Before heading to the garden centre in Ambleside we dropped into the Christmas market at Yew Treen Barn in Low Newton. Lots of stalls selling really good arts and crafts. We made two purchases: a new wrought iron poker with a ram's head and a couple of limited edition pencil sketches of sheep. Our last port of call was Bowness to buy a couple of presents.
