A Man and his Toys
I never cease to be amazed by the number and variety of tools that seem to accumulate in the garage and shed. A few of them came out to play as a little light pruning seemed to be in order. Or so I was told.
A lovely day, but very cold.
Second night of the week at Camera Club tonight for a nature photography talk by an RPS man talking about China. Got a second place in the Novice Class in the Digital Image competition last night! Very pleased that my Rotund Reflections proved satisfactory.
Made the first move today towards getting carers in to help Mom get up, washed and dressed in the morning. Another stage along the road.
Rather worryingly, Dad treated the whole of yesterday as if it was Friday. He took Mom to the hairdressers (who just did Mom's hair for her without questioning why they were there on the wrong day bless her), and going to church choir practice to find nobody else was there. We gave him his main Christmas present today - a pair of hearing aid compatible phones. Thought that Rob would need to set them up and provide appropriate training in use. Hope it works!
My sister should be moving week commencing 11 Dec so there's a lot going on. Busy times.
