I, You & We Love London (Sometimes)

It was a unofficial work do today - Paul's Pie Night. Our wonderful work colleague Paul is retiring before Christmas so we decided to have a Pie Night at one of the pubs near work to celebrate his marvellousness. Luckily, we had our lottery winnings still to spend so in the end we only had to fork out just over five quid each, yet we'd all had two courses, wine, side dishes and extra beer - result! He will be very sorely missed when he goes - his catchphrase of "boootiful!" when we all get stressed out with deadlines always makes us laugh.
I decided to stay in a hotel overnight so that I could imbibe and eat as much as I like without worrying about a late, late train home. I spotted this surreal car on the Bayswater Road and it's very vivid appearance amid the darkness really stood out. Sometimes I do love London but other times it gets me angry or drives me round the bend, but in the end at least it's never boring!
