Valley of the kings

A lovely hot start to the day and we were off to the south west of the island passing down the valley of the kings to Vueltas. The temperature falling slowly as we climbed up into the hills. A walk around the town and along the seafront with its large black pebbles and fine black sand.

We returned over the hills as mists began to swirl around. By the time we were back it had clouded over and we even had some much needed rain.
