We drove to the Hawaiian Tropical Botanical Garden this morning, grateful that the rain which caused flash floods yesterday had stopped. Actually it has been a beautiful day! The gardens were a lush tropical rainforest with beautifully coloured flowers, waterfalls and rushing streams. We spent a couple of hours following the paths there. It was a lovely peaceful place.
In the afternoon we went to the Imiloa Astronomy Centre. More rain is expected this evening.
