inspired by fine weather

This is what we have all been waiting for. A dry weekend so we can tidy up the garden for Autumn. All the lawns in the Crescent have been cut, shrubs tidied and dead plants sorted. The green bins are full up to the brim. The scaffie men are going to have to work hard for their wages today.

Scaffie men? That's the Scottish nickname for the bin men. I haven't found out what they are called round here. Anyway, they do a good job, and we couldn't manage without them.
