Going For Gold

Ideally, the bird should be a golden plover - but it is not.
It is an oystercatcher.

The setting sun once again provided some colour for my blip. This is almost as it came out of the camera but with the shadows slightly lightened.

Our Photo Soc is currently challenging members to do a 7-day one-a-day monochrome challenge.  My first offering is in the 'extra'. Subsequent efforts may appear as the main blip or as an 'extra' (if I have enough left).
