Old and new

My friend and I went on a day trip to Birmingham today to see the German Christmas  Market. It was great fun. They have some fabulous architecture there although it was a bit difficult to photograph due to the crowds of people. I loved all the pretty stalls and the smells of different types of food and, together with the Christmas music being played through the tannoys,, there was a really lovely Chrismas spirit.
The extras show the crowds, reflections in raindrops and good old Santa (german style)
