Cauldron

We went to Winchester Christmas market today and I have to say I was quite impressed by it. Last year I did Birmingham and thought it was a bit tacky but todays was selling things I actually wanted to buy. I bought my first Christmas present, some rhubarb gin and a bird feeder for myself.

This chap was stirring a huge cauldron of mulled wine. The smell was gorgeous. We would have bought some but we were too busy tasting the free samples of gin on the opposite stall!

Luckily we got there early because by lunchtime you couldn't move. And the rain held off!
