Happy Birthday Granny

Today may be remembered for the fact that we located the revolting smell that we noticed in the kitchen yesterday. Annoying really that I did not notice the dead mouse down the side of the fridge yesterday as it would have saved me cleaning it out when already clean, just in case. Luckily for me a far better skilled person fitted the kitchen kick boards and so there was no way the mouse could have got out into the rest of the house, though this was probably unlucky for Bruce. After unscrewing the boards and unattaching the fitted fridge the mouse was removed and all was cleaned, thankfully it had not been there for too long.

Today may also be remembered for Wife finding another leak in the house as the little ones threw more wobblers. As she shut the curtains she got a wet hand. I can not locate where it is coming from except the fact that it is rain (it was raining) and so must be from outside. I seem to have stopped the flow for a bit using cloths, a childs cricket bat and a minature tennis racket.

However today will be remembered as it is every year for Granny's birthday. We are not with her today but I hear she has been looked after and Wife is meeting up with her at the weekend for a day out.
