Hedgehog Lodge

On my walks around the village I have noticed that many of the houses and cottages have names.  There are some really lovely ones - 'Cinnamon Cottage', 'Cardamon Cottage', 'The Sparrows' and 'Honey Bee Cottage'.  Some houses are named as pairs, like these two which are called 'Hedgehog Lodge' and 'The Mouse House'!

The weekend seems to be flying by too fast.  This morning I made some leek and potato soup using produce harvested yesterday at the allotment.  Then we popped out to buy some food and do a few chores, popping in to see Andy's mum as we passed by.  Now it is 16:17 and its only half light outside.  We have managed a walk and are now putting up some pictures - both Andy's Mum and father were talented painters so are fortunate to have some special pictures to put up.
