Abbey Fields

Today is our friend Ian's birthday. We met him and Maureen at Loch Fyne in Kenilworth.

Loch Fyne is a seafood restaurant with branches up and down the country. The food is very good and we had an excellent meal.

After lunch Ann and I took a walk around Abbey Fields. This is an area around St Nicholas Church with a historic gatehouse, lovely open grass areas with lots of trees and a large lake. The photo is the footpath leading to the church.

Later we took Dylan to the vets to have his nails checked out. They've been bothering him for a while and we were concerned his paw may have become infected. He was very good with the vet and let her mess about with his paw; she cleaned it up and prescribed antibiotics after giving him couple of injections.
