Lava!

Today we went up on our rescheduled helicopter tour of the lava fields of Kilauea and waterfalls. I must admit I viewed this trip with trepidation and the first 30 seconds or so of the flight was scary, but after that I relaxed.
We had chosen the “no doors” option for the helicopter and that gave us the most amazing views. The photos I took do not reveal the true experience. Never to be forgotten!
