Waiting....

Yet another very early start to our day....
I managed to get some gardening done before it got too hot this morning. Later
I took time out to meet up with friends and attend a Requiem Mass. The husband of a good friend from my past jogging/walking days had passed away. The funeral was huge and held in the lovely old wooden Catholic Church, St Mary’s.
Here is Maisie, early this morning, patiently waiting for me to join her on the Stepping Stones over the Taylor River. It is a tricky crossing for me with some big gaps between the stones. I chuck a few rocks into the river and Maisie leaps into the water to try and find them. That gets her off the Stepping Stones and out of my way before I leap from stone to stone.
