Clearing Skies After Overnight Rain

We had a good shower of rain overnight. The sky was clearing when Maisie and I ventured out for our early walk. We had a busy day tidying the house and grounds in preparation for visitors from Scotland... distant cousins, part of the McMahon clan from my side of the family. Alex and Hannah and Duncan came over from Nelson to meet them. We had a great family get-together with lots of story telling and laughs. An evening to remember.
