No Expectations

Isn't it nice when you go out expecting nothing and mother nature hands out some lovely light! 

I went out to the other side of the river this afternoon. The day had been dull with a little rain first thing and there was no indication it would change much. As I walked around the Coombe Cellars pub I noticed that the late sun had made an appearance and was lighting up the opposite bank. I scuttled along the footpath to find a suitable  composition. I didn't think the boats were particularly attractive so I tucked them into the corner where they don't intrude on the lovely light on the far bank!
