Demo Scottish Parliament

A flurry of phone calls and emails this morning from Planning Democracy– could we rustle up some representatives from our group (RAGE- Residents against Greenbelt Erosion) to join other environmental groups protesting outside the Scottish Parliament tomorrow morning?
 
It's to do with the long awaited Planning Bill, which promised greater community involvement on the part of communities and much more.
 
It doesn’t. Surprise, surprise.
Basicallly  it’s more of the same i.e. centralized control by the SNP dominated Scottish Government.
 
So tomorrow morning will see a contingent, albeit small, from Bridge of Allan on the train to Edinburgh.
 
Meanwhile the Judy Murray tennis saga on Park of Keir rattles on with the developers lawyers locked in legal discussions with Stirling Council on the fine-tuning of the proposed development.
