There Are Sometimes......

....the cat needs protecting from over enthusiastic Beetle.

This morning the girl and I attended Flynns school for his end of year presentation.
I am always touched when ceremonies are opened with an honouring of the indigenous peoples and ancestors of the area .....'the guardians of the land'. It feels right.

The kiddywinks sang a song and certificates were handed out.........upshot...we are so proud of our little man at how well he has done in his first year at school.

Ma and Pa came over for a visit....Dad had a little sleep on the couch however...Beetle.....couldn't resist jumping up to stick his tongue in Dads ear waking him up....we were laughing too much to stop him...poor Dad........Beetle does love him though.

Had a bit of a family tiff...which is parr for the course in our family...all a load of hot heads...it just got a bit much when I was trying to buy tickets for a Dads Birthday cruise .......and I couldn't hear over the altercation between Ma and Pa so I had to finish the  transaction behind closed doors ;-))))))

Beetle likes to hammer the poor cat...although to be fair the cat does jump on him whilst he is sleeping .....from great heights sometimes..
