Caroline Causes Chaos

Off to Dundee today to work. My train was delayed by being stuck behind the late running sleeper train which arrived in Stirling when it should have been arriving in Inverness. A long lie for the people who’d been aboard since it left Euston last night. And my train, which should have been going on to Aberdeen, was stopping at Dundee. Things were hardly better going south from Stirling with cancellations and delays the order of the day. My homewards train started at Dundee, rather than Aberdeen, so things must be a lot worse further north. Here the sun is splitting a clear blue sky. It’s breezy but not stormy. Still time I suppose.

Anyway, here is the Tay as we pulled out of Perth this morning. I liked the kayaks ready for use when the wind drops.
