Houston, we have a surprise!

To say that winters in Houston are varied might be a bit of an understatement!  It was 80F/27C at the beginning of the week.  As you can see, it then changed its mind.  I’ve only seen snow falling here twice before and even then, it didn’t really lie.  This isn’t much snow compared to many parts of the world, but it’s a ton for here and it got everyone up in the night to watch and play. Although it’s already melting fast this morning, as newly-fallen snow often seems to, it has made everything seem brighter.
