Snow day!

I was planning a late morning at work today to give me a bit of recovery time. At 4am there wasn't a flake of snow outside. At 8am there was barely any. By 10.30am when I tried to drive into the office, I had to turn back because the roads were so dicey! My first snow day! There are some benefits of living further away from work. I did call the school to say we weren't coming but they had already decided to close.

Cue a long walk into town with much ooooohing and ahhhhhing on the way and a stop to push a car that was stuck. First proper snow in a long time and I absolutely loved it!

Prayer breakfast cancelled in the morning so early to bed with a dose of Night Nurse for me.
