It’s not all black and white

Really full on day of meetings. But a colleague made vegan mince pies and there was a festive air about the place.

Had a FaceTime with The Girl Racer on the way home, us stuck on the M25 and her in a gondola going up the side of a Canadian mountain with snow and bright sunshine. She looked fab and very happy.

Met Top Gun and The Dizzle for the annual ritual of buying the Christmas tree. We will be decorating it on Sunday. Bought supper in the local chippy, and had the usual bad jokes and banter around the table.

Now left with a clean house and a warm bed to look forward to.

Amidst the greyness of winter these are treasures that light up our days.
