The Dance Floor
Much socialising! First up a meal at the famous Hawes Inn, in the lee of the Forth Bridge. Our fellow diners, J&W, knowing that they’d miss Christmas because they’ll be in the Holy Land (as it used to be called), decided on the three course festive menu. Rarely have I enjoyed a meal less. Not because of the company, naw. The vegetables were pure murder. Boakable chow. The sidekick and I put brave faces on. And then exchanged presents. We now own two hand knitted gonks. Slightly more palatable.
Home and out immediately for a bit of solace, decent beer and fine company along at the Dreadnought. For who was up for the teatime pint but blip’s very own Misterft. Sláinte!
Back to pack. A little shopping trip begins tomorrow !
