The Veggie Patch

I couldn't help but notice this beautiful butterfly sunning itself on a cos lettuce in the veggie patch this afternoon. I was pleased that it was still there after I had raced off to fetch my camera. As you can see everything is pretty Rosie in the patch at the moment.

We had a lovely day today. A friend came over for lunch with Arlo in tow. Arlo is a standard poodle and boy didn't he love racing around the new track at Wombat Hollow. We are resigned to borrowing our friends doggies when we need a fix. I'm afraid we wouldn't see a bird for dust if we had doggies sharing our plot.
