Sugar plums
Today's the day .............................. to re-create
It all started when Will went to Glass & Thompson's and had some plum hazelnut torte to die for. Ever since then he's been trying to re-create it here at home - with varying degrees of success.
You see, he got a recipe off the internet which gives its measurements in cups and talks about sticks of butter? It wants you to use all-purpose flour and Italian prune plums (so does that mean prunes or plums?) It's a recipe for disaster, if you ask me. Anyway - these are the prune plums with their coating of sugar just before it all got combined and put in a 9-inch springform pan.
I'll let you know how it all turns out .............................
