Today's the day ......................... to sing carols

It may only be October - but we were singing Christmas carols in choir practice tonight. We've a concert in the Town Hall on 15th December and it's never too early to start practising for the big performance.

Margaret was there tonight - but she won't be singing in the concert. She'll be somewhere much more exciting because tomorrow she's off to join a big sailing ship. She's going to be the ship's cook on her voyage to Rio de Janeiro.

So no In the bleak midwinter for her, I suspect ........................
