Feed the birds

A bright and sunny morning, but. -1C.
The birds came as soon as I topped the feeders up.
Did the farm shop, and then spent the afternoon baking. The mince pie tin is now full again, but not for long!

We have had a few snow showers this afternoon. I think we are in for quite a lot tomorrow.

Watching the birds reminds me of our Sunday School song of long ago.

" Little birds in winter time
Hungry are and poor.
Feed them for the Father's sake
Till the winters o're."

Did anyone else sing this as a child?
