Winter Wonderland

Just enough snow here to make everything look so lovely, but not enough to cause any disruption.

So twelve of us decided to do the walk from Menston up and over Ilkley Moor and back.
It was a bit foggy, and maximum temperature was about 0C but must say we all enjoyed it, including eating our lunch sat on the moor!
Needles to say we were all well wrapped up with several layers of clothes, hats, scarves and gloves. The path was a bit icy in parts, and much easier walking in the snow covered grass.

Back to L's house for mince pies and mulled wine.
Well deserved !

Very glad we decided to go, as although now feeling tired, ( may be the mulled wine has something to do with that!) certainly enjoyed the fresh air, and company.

Photos didn't turn out too well because of the bad light.
I liked this one best. Reminds me of a Christmas card.

I hope you are not snowed up where ever you live. It does seem to be much worse down south for once.
