Mirrored

Over to Essex today for the Southern Group of Motoring Writers’ Christmas lunch. It was a very convivial event. There were almost 50 of us, members and partners, and the array of dubious-taste Christmas sweaters was dazzling.
We were in a smart hotel in the aptly-named Jaguar room, which has an entirely mirrored ceiling. Hence this rather unusual view of our table.
