Swirling Mist

While much of the UK is having severe snow and ice, the Glasgow area is experiencing cold temperatures on a windless day,  with blue skies and a ring of mist skirting low-lying areas.
The telephone mast, looking rather like a lone robot (from outer space!) is picked out by the sun against a backdrop of mist blotting out Milngavie, with the ridge of the Campsie Hills peeping out above.
The extra picture depicts a couple of high-rise blocks in North Glasgow giving the illusion of being higher than the clouds due the circle of mist around the area.
