Beverley Westwood
We decided to stretch our legs at an Orienteering event on Beverley Westwood today. Cold but no snow until we drove back over the Wolds. The main challenge was dodging the golfers as a number of routes crossed the fairways. Had a near escape whilst emerging from a control. Then a close encounter with a rather aggressive dog spoiled the end of the course.
We decided against visiting the Christmas Market in the town centre. We had Jet to walk and the thought of very crowded streets led us to head for the hills.
The photo is of the golfers and a control at the corner of the wood.
