Snow much fun!

Yay we had snow today! Kiddies couldn’t wait to get out in it this morning and didn’t even bother to get dressed. Alexander has never seen real snow before. Definitely never enough to be able to play in before so it was a real treat. A bit later on, once properly attired we all went in the garden for a snowball fight and to make a snowman.

In the afternoon we ventured a bit further into the village. The snow was starting to melt but was quite slippy where it had been compacted on the pavement. We slid into The Bell for a drink next to the open fire. Phoebe hung her gloves on the hearth to dry. We then slip slided our way into the Stilton Cheese. James and I had another drink each and the children amused themselves playing snap with the beer mats. An impromptu pub crawl, with the children, on a snow Sunday afternoon, that’s how we roll!
