The temperature went down to -6.5C in the garden last night finally killing the nasturtiums.  This afternoon it reached a high of -3.5C when I took this photo of these summer flowers of lavender together with the ceonathus which has been flowering profusely for three months.  The extra shows what most of the garden looked like.
