Just resting thanks .....

We very seldom get seals on Sumner Beach, which is just as well as there are often dogs off their leashes, especially first and last thing in the day. It could get nasty! I phoned DOC (Department of Conservation) and hope they came and shooed it back into the sea.

I wanted to make a joke about getting a seal of approval but couldn't quite make it work. Any ideas? 

He/she certainly opened one eye to see what I was up to. It's got a lovely shiny coat. I'd been getting images with sunbursts, and forgot that I'd had the camera set on f16 but it seemed to manage ok with a low shutter speed.
