Festive features

Scraping the barrel, or rather the mincemeat jar, for blips again. I was at choir practice all weekend, and the weather was terrible ... I didn't take a single photo. Here's some of what we were learning.

I had been kept busy making cakes, or rather tarts, for choir though -- two Bakewell tarts and some mince pies. Those were all swiftly disposed of. There was a bit of pastry left over in the fridge though, so I thought I might as well make half a dozen mince pies. I have also bravely set out on my second panettone journey -- expect completion sometime tomorrow.
