In the morning though, it was our privilege to visit The Flinders Foundation, where they do amazing research into illnesses, including cancer. Jill's husband was treated there ( its attached to the hospital ) during the 5 months between the diagnosis and his passing from a brain tumour. It was very emotional and humbling to be in the presence of the unsung heroes working there.
