Barnaby Rudge
The theme for today's Mono Monday hosted by si_b is Action/Adventure as related to movies. The book Barnaby Rudge written by Charles Dickens is full of both action and adventure being the story of the named individual and his unintentional involvement in the 1780s Gordon Riots, the anti-catholic movement started in London leading to mass destruction and deaths. Although I have not seen it there was a British film made in 1915 starring Tom Powers, Stewart Rome and Violet Hopson.
In Other News: The Hospice shop was closed due to inclement weather so I had a day off. Ann cleared part of the drive this morning (see extra) so we were able to restock supplies from Morrison's and visit Nero for a warming drink.
Tomorrow is forecasting very cold weather, freezing any lying snow.
