Birthday Flowers

We've been out to lunch with my brother, our usual haunt, but today we chose to have the Christmas lunch.  Turkey and trimmings and Christmas pud.  It was all very good but the pudding was exceptional.  Unfortunately I was too full to eat it all.  I don't usually eat turkey, so quite a change for me.

The flowers are Ann's, my brother brought them because we won't be meeting up next week, so an early present and a rather quick blip for me. 

I should have stopped on the way home as some of the field patterns in the snow were quite spectacular - but I didn't have my camera with me and my phone wouldn't have worked at that distance AND I was feeling full and a bit lethargic - so flowers it had to be.

However, I was feeling more creative earlier and I put together a photo impression of The Lyceum theatre in Sheffield using images I'd taken yesterday.  You may have seen it on FB and if not and you are interested I'm sharing it here as an extra.  Using the Pep Ventosa technique, though not in the round.
