Just cruisin'

There's another small park near home that was created to hold run-off and provide a riparian area for the watershed. Salem and I took a walk there today although you could walk all the paths 5 times and still not go very far...  But it's very serene today - if I had a proper camera with a lens I would have tried to get a good picture of the resident heron.

There were dozens of ducks and this one strayed my way and just gently started to disturb the placid reflection. The extra is a shot of a plant with fluffy seed pods but I couldn't get close enough to get the shot I wanted. But I like this one.
