The Heavens Opened

Apart from one day last week when a short shower dampened the ground, there had been no rain in Maleny (or many other parts of Queensland ) for 50 days. Finally, today, the heavens opened with a dramatic thunder and lightning show and a deluge that lasted hours - wonderful! And the temperature dropped from 32C before the rain to 20C afterwards.

This blip is of the rockery in the garden which turned for a while into a fast-flowing stream. Wonderful!
