All the leaves are brown

It has been absolutely glorious here the last few days, cold but glorious. Blue skies and sunshine all the way - the kind of autumnal days everybody loves.

We split the day 50/50, with a bit of indoor play and then lunch with H and Abigail in one of the local bars before heading home and into the garden. The children were remarkably well behaved in the bar. I was too, being a responsible adult and shunning alcoholic beverages in favour of some tea. If the kids carry on behaving so well in public places, however, would it be so wrong to partake in a glass of wine sometime soon?
