Brightness required

My living room is currently looking a bit 'bachelor pad' and a bit dark. Really want to lighten it a bit. Any comments on the above would be appreciated. Thank you.

A most productive day in the office today. Felt good after a week or so of disruption in one form or another.

First bit of entertaining tonight in the form of Jen. We managed to demolish dinner and an entire banana loaf. Ooooops. And it snowed again. Joy!
