Bellagio

After a visit to the bar for breakfast, and a second visit to the supermarket we headed over to Cadenabbia to take the ferry over to Bellagio.

I don’t think we have seen Bellagio so quiet since we were there at Christmas 2013. Hardly anybody around, most of the restaurants along the lake front were closed, as were many of those in the village itself. Many of the shops were also closed.

When it came to lunch time we were struggling to find anywhere open. In the end we found a nice wine bar that also did meals. It was not busy when we arrived, but it quickly filled up, and soon they were having to turn people away.

I could not appreciate the wine as I had the car at Cadenabbia, but I think we will be returning, it was a good discovery.
