Menaggio

We drove over to Menaggio today. After a walk around the village we had lunch at the Bar Central. A spritz would have been nice had I not been driving.

The village is looking festive, but very deserted. A red carpet along the main shopping street adds some cheer in the absence of people. It must be difficult to keep it looking clean over the Christmas period.

The weather has clouded over, and snow is in the forecast for Sunday.
