Directing operations

The head of our local school trying to dodge the camera, a little like the birds yesterday. A lovely woman who instigated this community Christmas lunch for families and groups linked to the school with an age group ranging from 4 to 94.

She works very hard, I was just thinking how lucky these youngsters are to attend this forward thinking environment.

We believe a hundred people turned up, the food looked good and felt impressed with all the offers of help, all gratefully accepted. It was a pleasure (more than but can’t think of the right word) to stand still for a few moments and listen to the chat of the young mums, dads and ‘ladies’ as they worked.

The ice has more less disappeared but the afternoon was grey and wet.
