Boy by the fire

He needs to keep warm, on top of the boiler is a favourite day time place, near the fire in the evening and close to us at night.

Today we attended the funeral of true Mulleach. The service was moving including a poem written and read by a nephew of the deceased, I wanted to applaud both.

The cemetery is on the road from the village to Tobermory and as always a long procession of cars headed slowly up the hill, at first sedately but then gaily abandoned because parking is impossible. The sky was blue, the views beautiful and the wind bitter, another memorable day. And as we headed back to the car we could see rain heading towards the village, Jonny the minister had just said we live in a very special place, I doubt any of us would disagree.
