Mass in La Nucia

Today’s Blip shows the village church, with Christmas decorations in the square, in La Nucia, a few kilometres inland from our home......
We were attending the funeral of an old friend, who died on Tuesday night. Funerals take place very quickly, in Spain.
The church was full, standing room only; mainly village friends and neighbours....but also friends, colleagues, former pupils and their parents, from our teaching days.
