Subtle...

Unlike yesterday's, the Christmas decorations at the pub today were very subtle, but I loved this pretty little table decoration, such a simple idea. I was at the pub for a pre-Christmas lunch with my Bus Challenge friend, but no buses were involved today, thankfully she gave me a lift as it was another bitterly cold day.

Then it was back home for the annual ritual testing of the Christmas lights before hanging them on the tree and around the house. And of course another part of the ritual is, once having hung the lights in place, discovering that they've packed up, despite having worked earlier when you tested them! Grrr... Thankfully it was the fifth and final string of lights that didn't work so it'll be easy to take them down, but that can wait until tomorrow...
